Why I built a DSE English course out of 15-minute lessons
What this site is for, who it's for, and how the courses work.
Hi, I’m Lawrence. I’m a medical student, I scored 5** in every DSE English paper, and I teach it.
When I prepared for the exam, I didn’t read long books. I studied exam-oriented material and drilled exercises until the techniques became automatic. This site teaches that same approach.
DSE students have very little time. So instead of long lessons, every course here is built from short lessons that each teach one skill, followed by drills you do straight away.

- Examiner-style marking: weak and strong answers side by side, so you can see exactly what earns the marks.
